HistoPilot-DSH
HistoPilot-DSH is an optional tool adapter for DeepSeek Harness. It lets a DSH conversation delegate pathology-navigation tasks, but it neither replaces HistoPilot nor acts as a PathTogether plugin.
Where it sits
DeepSeek Harness
└─ HistoPilot-DSH: tool registration, configuration and HTTP/SSE adapter
└─ HistoPilot: executes navigation, observation and annotation strategy
└─ PathTogether: supplies authorized slides, viewer and collaboration data
There is only one navigation agent in this chain: HistoPilot. DSH owns higher-level conversation and orchestration; HistoPilot-DSH only exposes run, continue, session and cancel as DSH tools.
What it owns
- Registers
histopilot_run,histopilot_continue,histopilot_sessionandhistopilot_cancel; - Converts DSH tool arguments into HistoPilot requests;
- Waits for and parses HistoPilot SSE results;
- Propagates cancellation and returns summaries, annotation IDs and session IDs.
What it does not own
- It does not read WSIs, the PathTogether database or viewer state;
- It does not duplicate HistoPilot's goto, snapshot, zoom or annotation strategy;
- It does not store PathTogether users, permissions or collaboration data;
- It is not required for ordinary PathTogether users.
Install it only when an existing DSH workflow needs to invoke pathology navigation. A normal PathTogether + HistoPilot deployment does not need HistoPilot-DSH.
